🌿 Because conscious consumption matters (especially at this time of year)
As we approach the end of the year, we are surrounded by campaigns, countdowns, and messages that push us to buy as if there were no tomorrow.
It's normal to feel some pressure — after all, this is the time when people talk most about discounts and "unmissable opportunities".
But at LUR we believe in something else: Consumption can (and should) be conscious, beautiful, and purposeful.
And that's why I wanted to write this article today, at this time of year when we most need to take a deep breath before making choices.
🌿 Buying consciously means respecting your own pace.
We live in a fast-paced world, where everything is immediate.
But the truth is that not everything that is urgent is important .
Buying consciously means allowing yourself to stop for a second and ask yourself:
- Do I really need this?
- "Will this improve my life?"

Does this make sense to me?
And sometimes the answer is yes — because a product can make you feel more cared for, calmer, or even more confident. Other times, the answer is no, and that's okay.
Conscious consumption isn't about stopping buying. It's about buying better.
💛 Less stuff, more meaning
At this time of year, we automatically think about gifts.
But gifts don't have to be huge or impulse purchases.
Giving a gift is a way of saying "I was thinking of you".
And it wasn't "I was caught by the marketing" .
Could it be:
- a self-care ritual,
- a useful gesture,
- a product that the person already uses and loves,
- a gift that creates no waste,
- or something that is truly part of the recipient's life.
🌍 The impact of our choices
I always say that, at LUR, every formula is designed with respect for the skin and the planet. And that only makes sense when those on the other side believe the same. Your choices have an impact, and even if it doesn't always seem like it, they make a difference . Buying consciously is also about making choices.
